Italian Fare & Natural Wine

As an Italian restaurant we cook elegant, rustic, honest food that brings back traditional, nostalgic flavors, and also new inspired dishes from places we love.

We base our menu (a creative collaboration between Chef Roberto and CDC Lionel) on local and seasonal ingredients often coming from farms in Upstate NY and local green markets. 

Our beverage program (directed by Partner/General Manager Althea) is entirely in support of natural wine making methods and sustainable processes while our bar program highlights artisanal and hyperlocal spirits, prioritizing brands/labels with BIPOC & minority teams at the helm.

Our restaurant reflects our passion for food and hospitality, offering a kind of service that evokes a deep sense of community and which isn’t easily found in any restaurant in the neighborhood. Walking into our dining room will remind you of visiting your best friend’s house, or being welcomed by your loved ones.

Our goal at Aita is to create for you a moment of sharing, of emotion, and of memory but most importantly, to make you feel at home.
